All the photos in the book come from a sticky board. At first, my idea was just to make a “photo”: photography fixes some objects on a plane. For me, this sticky board is a broad extension of the concept of photography. But when it was covered with small insects, my view changed dramatically. The image became a cemetery and a monument, and every small dot on the image was once a living life, fighting fiercely in this land of death, “they passed here and stayed here forever.” The plane disappeared, and viewing does not exist only in concepts. So I once again used photography to re-view this “photo”, leaving behind this poem about viewing, fixation, and the death of the plane.
